The Bread and Book Foundation (BBF) ensures that all donations are processed with the highest level of care, strictly following the donor’s instructions, whether contributed online or offline. However, in the rare instance of an incorrect donation or if a donor wishes to revoke their contribution, BBF will address the request within 7 working days of receiving a valid refund application.

The refund timeline will vary based on the payment method used for the transaction. To request a refund, the donor must submit a written application within 2 days of making the donation via email at [your official email] or by sending a formal letter to our registered office, along with the following:

Proof of donation deduction (such as a bank statement or transaction receipt).
If a donation receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original receipt to BBF’s office.
If a tax exemption certificate has been generated, the donation cannot be refunded. However, if the refund is required due to an oversight on BBF’s part, we will process the reimbursement and bear any associated costs.
For international contributions, the refund procedure will require at least 10 working days.
